Explore the different francophone countries.

The students did a dictée (on airport travel). They took the chap. 4 mots 2 quiz. We went to the lab where they researched francophone countries.

We learned prepositions with countries (and cities), the students received a handout.
The students rewrote a passage from PC to IMPARFAIT.
They underlined and checked IMP and PC on pp. 6-7 'le Voyage Perdu".
They worked in pairs and did activities 6,8 p. 1044-5.
We did listening activities on airport vocab.

We practiced the irregular verbs: venir, revenir, devenir, in the present tense. The students wrote about activities in the IMPARFAIT (what they used to do) and PASSE COMPOSE (what they did last year) p. 107 #12. They had conversations using airport vocabulary (review).

The students had conversations H11, about train travel. We played BINGO with train vocab.
We read about Passé composé and the imparfait, p. 106. The did a review activity about Buzz and Craig in "le Voyage Perdu" and we read part of chapter 1.

The students described their activities over the weekend, where they were and what they were doing. They answered questions from the TGV reading (p. 118-119) and we saw a video of the TGV record (574 kilomètres à l'heure). We did audio activities.

We reviewed the health vocab. and read "Chez le médecin" p. 50. We practiced the verbs 'ouvrir' and 'souffrir' (they conjugate like -er verbs) and the commands. We corrected homework.
The students practiced recording themselves in the lab (practicing for the speaking part of the exam).

We reviewed OBJECT PRONOUNS, the students did a warm up with object pronouns and technology vocab. We reviewed the IMPERATIVE (commands) and the verbs: souffrir, ouvrir, etc., practiced the vocab. p. 38-39 , the students worked in pairs and did the activities p. 40.
We watched a video about a sick kid (who visits the Catacombs in Paris).
