The students worked in pairs and reviewed the "vocabulaire de classe (verbes)". They answered the personal questions from chap. 1 of "Pauvre Anne". We began reading the novel. The students worked in groups and answered questions about the story. We read chapter 1 together.

We studied the class vocabulary (tu and vous form commands). The students worked in pairs quizzing each other. The students discussed where, when and with whom they have spoken French, visited French speaking countries and wish to travel.

The students practiced reading their diamond poems to each other, and asked conversational questions of one another (in French). They began filling in a verb chart (review of regular and irreguar verbs in the present tense). They gave oral presentations (reading their poem and answering 3 questions in French).

The students read their horoscopes in French and decided if they were accurate or not. They described famous people (from pictures). They told what they were like with friends, family and teachers. We read "Nadine".

We practiced the alphabet and French pronunciation. We played "la loto" (Bingo) with adjectives, the students deduced rules of adjective agreement (masculine and feminine).

We reviewed the alphabet and the students worked with partners spelling their names (in French). The students unscrambled questions, translated them into English and answered them in French.
